Happy New Year 2011

Happy New Year 2011 !!! Let's all Welcome the new beginning of good things in life,
Let That S..t be bygone forever. And May this year bring inspiration and happiness to you and your family, lads ...

Farewell 2010

We leave the past behind and speed toward the unknown, our future.
We set out for far off places and try to find ourselves or try to lose ourselves,
exploring pleasures close to home.
The problems start when we refuse to let change happen and cling to old habits.
But if we hold on to the past too tight, the future may never come.....

Formed in 2001, Death Of A Salesman are Krachai Chattalada (Vocal, Guitar, Lyrics) and Prinn Amornsupasiri (Guitar, Lyrics). And they have been released their track "Spin" in Smallroom 002 album which released in September 2001. They're signed by SmallRoom Record in 2002 later.

RedTwenty "RedTwenty"

On August 21, 2002 at Indies In Change Concert, Thammasart University, RedTwenty performed a furiously lively great performance with their guts of madness. All audiences were pretty stunned. Their albums (easy homemade style) were sold out entirely as soon as they finished the show. There is only a few Thailand band who wrote English Language in their lyrics. This is truely brave creation. Redtwenty is one of them also. Redtwenty are Bank - Sorrawis Insiriphong (vocalist),Chim - Paphan Chimtawan (guitarist), Oaks - Attapol Praisri (bassist), Bengz - Sompop Praesangieam (drummer) and Pong - Panmanus Nakata (live performance guitarist). They got influenced with powerful British Pop & tip-off of 90's Rock & Roll. They started to work with Mr. Wannarit Pongprayoon (We already knew him as Pok Stylish Nonsense). Later on, They signed in Panda Records. They released their self-title name album in 2006. This concept album is also anti-social. Their lyrics are mainly about drugs, dark side of teenagers, suicide, self-injury. Perhaps, They depend on how they express it and how they are accepted it. They already wroted and work on this album since they were young.

The Stone Roses "The Stone Roses"

The Stone Roses were an English rock band formed in Manchester in 1984. They were one of the pioneering groups of the Madchester movement that was active during the late 1980s and early 1990s. The band's lineup consisted of vocalist Ian Brown, guitarist John Squire, bassist Gary "Mani" Mountfield, and drummer Alan "Reni" Wren.

The band released their debut album, The Stone Roses, in 1989. The album was a breakthrough success for the band. At this time the Stone Roses decided to capitalise on their success by signing to a major label; however, their current record label Silvertone would not let them out of their contract, which led to a long legal battle that culminated with the band signing with Geffen Records in 1991, and then finally releasing their second album Second Coming in 1994. The group soon disbanded after several lineup changes throughout the supporting tour, which began with Reni first departing, followed by Squire.

Welcome To Bangkok Indie Stories

Welcome to Bangkok Indie Stories. The aim of this project is to build the most comprehensive list of music blogs or anythings available on the internet, and categorize them according to genre (especially Indie Music) for your convenience. You can click the link above, scroll down, or select a category from the drop down menu at the top of the page to skip directly to the list of blogs. I hope that this will serve as an invaluable resource for music enthusiasts everywhere.

I strive to ensure that this list contains blogs of the highest caliber. Each blog must meet several requirements in order to make the list. It is inevitable that some visitor's favorite blogs will be excluded as a result of these restrictions, yet it will ensure that the blogs listed will be of a much higher quality. I should also mention that blogs which contain commercially available material will not be listed here. Bangkok Indie Stories does not advocate piracy, yet we are not responsible for the content of the blogs listed here. Our aim is to promote blogs which focus on rare material that is out of print or otherwise unavailable. If you find a blog on the list that fails to meet this criteria, please report it.

I would like to take the time to thank all of you music bloggers out there, whether you are on this list or not. As a music blogger myself, I know how much dedication and hard work goes into running a blog. Your work does not go unappreciated, and this list would not exist at all were it not for you.
